Abdurahman El-Awa (Abs) is a Consultant in Oral Surgery. He has extensive experience in Oral Surgery and has a special interest in Dental Implants, Bone Grafting procedures, as well as providing Sedation for nervous dental patients. He is renowned for his calm and patient chairside manner.
Abs qualified in 2003 in Cairo and moved to the UK in 2006 to embark upon specialist training in Oral Surgery. Since then he has trained in Glasgow Dental School, Glasgow Southern General Hospitals, Sheffield Dental School, Sheffield University Hospitals and Royal Derby Hospitals. Abs has completed postgraduate training and specialist clinical experience in Oral Surgery. He is a member of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh and England and helps to examine oral surgery trainee specialist surgeons.
Abs worked as a Consultant Oral Surgeon at Manchester Teaching Hospitals and currently is a Consultant at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals where he teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate dentists and dental students.
In his spare time Abs enjoys trail running, fishing and scuba diving.

Meet Aleena, a friendly and skilled dentist dedicated to ensuring every visit to Ecclesall Dental Care is a positive experience. With a focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered care, Aleena works hard to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all her patients.
A 2022 graduate from the University of Sheffield, Aleena’s passion for dentistry is matched by her love for adventure. Outside of the practice, she enjoys travelling the world and baking delicious treats—her cookies are almost as sweet as the care she provides!
With a warm and approachable personality, Aleena is committed to making sure every patient feels relaxed and well taken care of during their visit.
